The history of Bent Metal Winery traces back to 2010 when Scott and Judy Brown, driven by Scott's early fascination with wine, embarked on a dream to establish their own vineyard and winery. Scott's love for wine was ignited during his youth when he tasted Chateau Latour, a moment that inspired his lifelong dedication to the craft. In his 30s, Scott decided to pursue winemaking seriously. He enrolled in UC Davis' wine making training courses and embarked on a journey to visit various wineries, comparing the styles of wines from different appellations.
At Bent Metal Winery, Scott serves as the winemaker, passionately committed to blending modern winemaking techniques with traditional methods to craft wines of exceptional structure and balanced acidity. Judy, his supportive partner, assists with overseeing the entire winemaking process, contributing to the seamless operation of the estate.Both Scott and Judy, with their deep passion for wine, are lifelong learners, constantly seeking new experiences and refining their craft to produce wines that are both complex and harmonious.
